If you would like to keep your little Christmas tree indoors over the Christmas period and are struggling to find a pot at the right size, why not try one of our suggestions below, neither of which will cost you a penny.
Christmas Tree in a Postal Tube
Simply cut the end off your Postal Tube, around 11cm from the bottom (please ask an adult to help and be careful with those scissors) keeping the end cap in place and there you have it, an eco-friendly recycled pot that will keep your tree upright. If you are feeling creative, you could even decorate the tube ‘Blue Peter’ style.
Christmas Tree in a Tin Can
An empty tin can is the perfect size and shape to make a contemporary pot for your Little Christmas Tree. Just peel off the label and ‘Bobs your uncle’ (we think spaghetti hoops work best, but baked beans or soup cans will work as well!).
